Product Overview

HONGSEN TH Series replaceable orifice assemblies are designed for use with compatible HONGSEN TH and THW thermostatic expansion valve bodies.

Six orifice sizes are available. Each size provides different nominal refrigeration capacities depending on whether the valve is used with R22, R134a or R404A.

The replaceable design allows the valve capacity to be adapted without replacing the complete thermostatic expansion valve body.

Designed for the following HONGSEN valve bodies:

  • TH22 and TH22W
  • TH134 and TH134W
  • TH404 and TH404W

The model codes use the TH22-09 prefix, but the numbered orifices are selected across the TH family according to refrigerant and required capacity.

Important Selection Notice

Nominal capacities are reference values under the manufacturer’s stated rating conditions. The final orifice must be selected according to refrigerant, evaporating temperature, condensing temperature, superheat, subcooling and required system capacity.
