The HONGSEN RF22 Series consists of internally equalized thermostatic expansion valves designed for R22 refrigeration systems. These extended-type models use SAE flare inlet and outlet connections, providing a serviceable threaded installation for cold rooms and commercial refrigeration equipment.
The valve regulates liquid refrigerant flow entering the evaporator according to the superheat detected by the sensing bulb. This helps maintain stable evaporator operation and reduces the risk of excessive liquid refrigerant returning to the compressor.
The available models cover multiple orifice sizes from Ø1.0 to Ø5.0. Model selection must be based on refrigeration capacity, operating temperatures, refrigerant pressure drop and connection size—not on orifice size alone.
