Product Description
Kaidi GU Series High-Efficiency Evaporators
The Kaidi GU Series consists of high-efficiency ceiling-mounted evaporators designed for cold rooms, freezer rooms, food-processing facilities and cold-chain applications.
The series is available with fan diameters from 350 mm to 630 mm and with one-, two- or three-fan configurations. Fin spacings of 4.5 mm, 6.0 mm and 9.0 mm allow the evaporator to be selected for different room temperatures, humidity levels and frost conditions.
All models supplied on this product page are equipped with electric defrost. Low-power-density stainless-steel electric heaters are installed through the heat exchanger and inner drain-pan area to provide uniform defrosting and reliable low-temperature operation.

Construction and Components
Casing
The casing is manufactured from high-quality powder-coated steel for corrosion resistance. Aluminium and stainless-steel casing materials are available for special environments.
Tube Plates
The tube plates are manufactured from approximately 2.0 mm alloy aluminium. This design helps reduce wear on the copper tubes caused by thermal expansion and contraction.
Heat Exchanger
The heat exchanger uses internally grooved tubes and an optimised refrigerant-circuit layout. The triangular tube arrangement and corrugated aluminium fins are designed to improve air-side and refrigerant-side heat transfer.
Fans
The series uses external-rotor fans with Class F motor insulation. Different fan diameters and quantities are available to match the cooling capacity, airflow and air-throw requirements of each application.
Electric Defrost
Low-power-density stainless-steel electric heaters are arranged through the evaporator coil and inner drain pan. The heater layout supports uniform defrosting while helping reduce local overheating.
Drain Pan
The internal drain-pan structure is designed to reduce air bypass and improve condensate discharge. Electric heating is provided in the drain-pan area for low-temperature operation.
