DESCRIPTION
The Frascold A1.5-7Y and A1.5-8Y are compact, single-stage semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors designed for commercial refrigeration and HVACR applications.
Both models feature a two-cylinder design, a nominal motor power of 1.1 kW, POE lubrication and integrated motor protection. Their compact cast-iron construction provides reliable operation while reducing the installation space required inside condensing units and refrigeration systems.
The two models share the same nominal motor size but provide different volumetric displacements. Compressor selection must be based on the refrigerant, evaporating temperature, condensing temperature, required cooling capacity and electrical supply.
